New CNN poll is so bad for Biden that even Dana Bash is forced to admit there’s ‘no way to spin this’

The American people are in a surly mood over the direction that the country has taken under the stewardship of President Joe Biden and a new CNN poll is yet another sign that the Democratic Party may be in serious trouble next year if they don’t change course.

In her intro to Thursday’s edition of “Inside Politics” on the pro-Biden cable news network, CNN anchor Dana Bash didn’t even bother with the usual gaslighting, leveling with viewers that “there is no way to spin this” and that “Americans are deeply unhappy with Joe Biden.”

According to a CNN report on Biden’s miserable numbers, “Views of Biden’s performance in office and on where the country stands are deeply negative in the new poll. His job approval rating stands at just 39%, and 58% say that his policies have made economic conditions in the US worse, up 8 points since last fall. Seventy percent say things in the country are going badly, a persistent negativity that has held for much of Biden’s time in office, and 51% say government should be doing more to solve the nation’s problems.”

There were the usual concerns about Biden’s advanced age but more troubling for Democrats is that nearly half of those surveyed believe that ANY Republican candidate would be preferable to the deeply unpopular leader and his disastrous policies.

“There is no clear leader in a potential rematch between Biden and former President Donald Trump, who is widely ahead in the GOP primary. And nearly half of registered voters (46%) say that any Republican presidential nominee would be a better choice than Biden in 2024,” the outlet reported.

In the segment with Bash, CNN political analyst David Chalian displayed the numbers on the screen, and the only president of the modern era who is less popular than Biden was Jimmy Carter.

Also on CNN, political commentator Van Jones discussed the network’s new poll, likening Biden to a dear old grandpa who needs to be told to retire.

“Joe Biden’s like that grandpa that you love, that you believe in,” Jones said. “But you start to wonder, you know, would you give this grandpa a high-stress job for six more years or would you want something else for him?”

The dismal CNN polling also came up on Thursday’s edition of “The View” where co-host Joy Behar was distraught and in denial that real people outside of the elite bubble are suffering and ready for a change from what’s not working.

Biden’s probable GOP opponent, former President Donald J. Trump who is currently running away with the race, reacted to the stunning numbers from CNN”s poll.

“In new CNN Poll, “Have (Crooked Joe) Biden’s policies improved or worsened economic conditions? WORSENED 58%, IMPROVED 24%. This is one of the worst outcomes in polling history, but because it is FAKE NEWS CNN, I believe that the real numbers are much worse than this for Biden. Almost everyone is doing worse!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The CNN poll comes after a recent Wall Street Journal survey found that a supermajority of Democrats think that Biden is too old to run for reelection.

Unfortunately for Democrats, the numbers don’t lie and the geriatric career politician may not have such an easy time bamboozling voters the second time around.
